This film follows our week-long adventure through Alaska as we attempt to catch 7 species of fish on the fly rod.
In this video, a fishing enthusiast embarks on a dream trip to Alaska, renowned for its rich salmon and trout populations. It captures the pristine beauty of one of North America's most untouched fishing destinations.
The journey begins in Anchorage, with the adventurers meeting Alex, a former employee at All Alaska Outdoors. They travel through the stunning Cook Inlet, admiring Alaska's "happy little trees" and unspoiled wilderness.
They stay at All Alaska Outdoors, a premier fishing lodge on Longmere Lake, run by Dr. Bob Leta, a physician, guide, and pilot. Dr. Bob shares his journey from Texas to Alaska and the fulfillment of his dream to build a fishing lodge.
The group targets seven different fish species, aiming for the "June Slam." They fish various locations, some accessed by boat and others by float plane. The experience is diverse, with opportunities to catch rainbow trout, dolly varden, lake trout, and more.
Their adventure includes fishing in remote areas, witnessing the salmon migration, and the thrill of catching fish in pristine Alaskan waters. The group enjoys the solitude and the challenge of fishing in these remote locations.
The video highlights the breathtaking scenery of Alaska, from the aerial views during float plane rides to the serene landscapes around the fishing spots. The majesty of Alaska's wilderness is a recurring theme throughout the video.
The evenings are spent enjoying the lodge's amenities like the sauna and sharing stories with fellow anglers. The group appreciates the camaraderie and the serene environment of the lodge.
