Double Haul

Double Haul

Double haul is a casting technique used by fly fishers to increase the line speed and achieve greater casting distance. It involves a quick, coordinated pull on the fly line during both the back cast and forward cast, which accelerates the line and helps overcome wind resistance. This technique is particularly useful when fishing in windy conditions, casting large or heavy flies, or when trying to reach distant targets.
