What is the Boutique?
The Boutique is a platform for small, independent fly tyers to sell their handmade flies to a global audience of fly fishers.
The Boutique was only recently launched, so we're working on more functionality to make it the best platform for both fly tyers and fly fishers.
Why this platform?
There are countless webshops where you can purchase high quality flies. But in our search for fly fishing information, we stumbled upon many small fly tyers. Some have a webshop, some don't. Some sell via direct messages on Instagram, some don't.
What we noticed was that these fly tyers make incredibly beautiful and high quality flies. And we would like these to be available to everyone, in a way that makes sense for both fly tyers and fly fishers.
And that is the reason we have custom built the Boutique for fly tyers and fly fishers.
Why can I only buy from one fly tyer at a time?
Else you would have to pay shipping cost for each fly tyer that you buy from, making your shipping cost very high. We also like that this is a personal experience, where you really buy from an individual that has crafted these flies for you.
So when you add a fly or set to your cart, you buy from the fly tyer who tied these. Add as many flies as you like from this fly tyer.
Why do I need to have an account to make a purchase?
This is for 2 reasons. First: to keep everything safe for both fly tyers and fly fishers. Second: we would like to keep the Boutique a place of high quality, in terms of the flies that are sold but also in terms of user experience. Requiring you to be logged in order to purchase is a way for us to achieve both these things.
What countries can the flies be shipped to?
We currently allow shipping to Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States.
What are the shipping costs?
Each fly tyer can set the shipping cost per country, because each fly tyer can be based in a different country. You will always see the shipping cost for your country in your cart before you check out, as well as on the checkout page.

What payment methods do you support?
We currently support Credit Cards, Apply Pay, Google Pay, Link, Bancontact (Belgium), BLIK (Poland), EPS (Austria), Giropay (Germany), iDeal (Netherlands). If you like to see a payment method added please send us an email.
How do you handle payments?
We use Stripe as a payment processor. You can find more information on stripe.com.

How the Boutique works
You always buy from one fly tyer at a time
When you add a fly or set to your cart, you buy from the fly tyer who tied it. Add as many flies as you like from this fly tyer.
You can not add flies from multiple tyers, because else you would have to pay shipping cost for each one, making your shipping cost very high.
Estimated delivery time is shown in the shopping cart
Some sets and flies can be in stock, others might be tied to order. The item that takes the longest will determine the total time your order will take.
The estimated time your order will take is always shown in the shopping cart before you check out.
